Our first aid courses are designed to teach vital knowledge and skills for saving lives and minimising the severity of injury or sudden illness. Pre-workshop activities are completed via our engaging online portal followed by a hands-on practical workshop delivered by our industry-experienced trainers.
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to apply first aid in your workplace, community or home.
In order to successfully complete the course, you will need to engage in a series of online learning activities (eLearning modules and quizzes) via the Catalyst Education learning portal, prior to attending a 1 day face-to-face practical workshop.

Online pre-workshop activities with a hands-on practical workshop.

Pre-workshop learning activities: 6 – 8 hours
Face-to-face practical workshop: 7.5 hours
Our workshop philosophy
The idea of the workshop is to present first aid scenarios in a safe and secure but fun way to ensure that each learner has the best outcome. For full day workshops, we have a morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea break so that everyone stays fresh and focused!
