Lisa is an experienced endorsed enrolled nurse with experience in a variety of care fields including aged care, mental health, emergency, rehabilitation, respiratory/thoracic and medical. Based on this experience with the vast range of specialised areas Lisa is passionate about imparting as much knowledge as she can to our future aged care workers.
Lisa is a trainer with a great deal of experience training a variety of students. Lisa has a high level of commitment to her students to ensure everyone who enters into the aged care sector are knowledgeable, caring and more than able.’

Jess is a passionate trainer whose background is firmly rooted in the home care sector, where she undertook lead positions to ensure the best standard of care for their clients.

These high standards transfer to Jess as a trainer where students have commented on her dedication, knowledge and enthusiasm for the aged care sector. These traits keeps her classes excited and driven on their path to become aged care workers.

Jill is a registered nurse with over 29 years’ experience in aged care. Jill’s passion and enthusiasm for careers in aged care is evident in her engaging training delivery style. Jill prides herself on providing personal support to her students.

Jean Harris

Cairns

Jean has 30 years’ experience in acute care, aged and community care and in teaching in the VET sector.
She is a TESOL trainer with a special interest in Indigenous Mentoring Programs, Language Literacy & Numeracy and Mental Health. Jean has a Master of Education (Special Education Needs), a Graduate Diploma in Management Information Systems and she has recently completed a Diploma of Business.

Jean has a passion for training our future generations in the care of our elders.

Traci Giblett

Traci has worked in the aged care industry since 1998 in nursing roles and is now a Training Manager.
She has recently completed a Diploma of Quality Auditing and she has a personal philosophy of life-long learning.

Traci takes great pride in nurturing entry level students into the aged care industry, overseeing the development of their personal care skills and their vocational placements.

Elsa Van Den Heever

Elsa is a Registered Nurse with experience in both hospital and aged care facility settings. Her passion for care is evident in her continued work in industry on a casual and part time basis.

Elsa’s combination of current industry experience and training expertise gives students a unique and localised insight into the world of aged care; giving her students the best chance at being successful in the industry.

Tracey Croucher

Tracey is an experience industry professional with near 15 years of experiences in personal care and lead roles with aged care. Dedicated and always looking to improve her skills and knowledge, Tracey passes on this enthusiasm to her students.

Tracey has an energetic and upbeat delivery style, which keeps her students motivated and ready to tackle the world of aged care.

Zac Hitchcock

Vocational Placement Coordinator

Starting with Royal College in 2016, Zac brings many years of experience in the Health and Community Services industry. Moving to vocational education in 2013 first as an educator then as a vocational placement coordinator, he spends his days sourcing student placement experiences with some of the most sort-after services in the sector. Zac says: “The Healthcare and Community Services industry is expanding significantly at this time and service providers are searching to add quality candidates to their workforce. Royal College’s reputation within the sector for providing job-ready students is testament to the great job our educators do and it’s what makes my job so much easier when placing students for their practical experience’.
